In this seminar, we will discuss various thematic baskets including AI, Wolfe Alpha List, Cleantech, & Disruptive Innovation. These strategies are both long-only and long/short. Our thematic baskets are fully tradeable and account for risk, liquidity, cost of borrow, market impact and transaction costs. We also introduce a novel portfolio construction technique which can transform a long-only basket into a long-short strategy by removing all systematic style risk. Our approach preserves the original long-only portfolio while traditional methods can change the long book.
